Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) recently published an FAQ that provides guidance on the state’s new pay transparency law, formally titled the Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act. The Act requires employers with 100 or more employees to submit their EEO-1 reports to the Commonwealth by February 1 of each year. LWD’s recently published FAQs clarify key components of the Act and provide guidance to employers regarding their reporting obligations. Since February 1st falls on a Saturday this year, reports will be accepted until Monday, February 3, 2025.
