Ellen Harford is a professional with over 20 years of Human Resources experience, including contract implementation, union negotiations, budgeting, compensation and benefits administration, payroll administration, worker’s compensation, unemployment, FMLA, HR policies and procedures, recruiting, onboarding, employer tax and retirement report filing, OSHA safety, and employee training.
She has spent the majority of her career in secondary and higher education, and has additional experience in the banking and the hospitality industries.
Ellen holds a dual AS degree in Accounting and Federal Taxation from McIntosh College, a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Certificate, and a Grant-Writing Certificate from the University of Southern Maine.
A resident of Long Island in Casco Bay, Ellen loves travelling to warmer waters to surf, and spends her free time reading, gardening and caning chairs.
