“The foundation of a successful organization is the team. Throughout my career, I’ve found that the best business decisions are the ones made based on input from staff members who are closest to the workflow, who know the details of the situation and the department dynamics. The most effective leaders empower and support their team members to make decisions and learn from missed opportunities. My best advice to leaders is to take the time to listen, say thank you, and appreciate your staff – they are your most valuable asset.”
