How do you model strong leadership?

“I model leadership with integrity, and in way that mentors my team while giving them opportunities to learn, practice and demonstrate their talents. Communication is key. Whenever possible, I explain processes, the background on those processes, and why I choose one form of action over another. I hold myself to the same high standards that I set for my team, and I bring them with me to meetings and events to demonstrate how I handle situations. These opportunities build confidence and skills, and sometimes we all learn together. I let my team lead whenever possible, and I make sure they know that I am their biggest supporter!”
