What was the best career advice you ever received?
“If you want to win the lottery you have to buy a ticket. It sounds like an old joke, but my relative’s advice spurred me to apply for a job I thought out of reach – and got. You do have to play if you want to win. It’s a great mantra. I pick up the phone and call people, even if they may seem too important. I take risks rather than waiting for things to happen. Go for it!”
