Leora has over 15 years of Human Resources experience in federal and state compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits design and administration, policy development, recruitment, and learning and development.
She has worked within a wide range of industries, including retail, non-profit, manufacturing, engineering, food service, breweries, and veterinary services.
Leora holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from University of Southern Maine. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. Leora also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
Leora lives in Durham with her husband and two young daughters. She spends her free time with family, managing a busy household, and teaching her daughters how to become strong women (who also love to bake).
