HR Consultant Tara Marquis received the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and Yarmouth Rotary’s Annual “Yarmouth Spirit of Excellence Award” at a luncheon, Friday, May 29.
The award recognizes non-managerial employees from businesses in the Yarmouth area who demonstrate outstanding commitment to their businesses, serve as role models, and make real differences to the success of their companies. This is the award’s 15th year.
“I am so proud of Tara and cannot thank her enough for all she does for us,” says KMA president Kim Anania. “This recognition was very well deserved for my first employee hired almost 6 years ago!”
Tara was nominated for the award by her peers at KMA who recognize her as a leader at KMA who has been instrumental in growing the business, is highly respected as an internal resource for all areas of human resources consulting, and is always willing to step in and help wherever needed with a smile and positive attitude.
“It’s is an honor to work for Kim, who has built an organization on integrity, honesty, and transparency,” explains Tara. “I am proud to represent KMA, and feel fortunate to get to work alongside such great clients. I really enjoy helping them succeed in their HR endeavors.”
