KMA Human Resources Consulting is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a women’s business enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
As a WBENC-certified WBE, KMA underwent a rigorous and stringent certification process. KMA can now access a number of federal, state, and local government agencies, plus the more than 10,000 other WBENC certified WBEs in the United States to purchase products or services and partner on joint venture opportunities.
Businesses certified by WBENC become part of a database of more than 10,000 WBEs that is used as the top sourcing tool for corporations looking for women-owned business in a range of industries, including construction, retail, manufacturing, staffing, IT, marketing, advertising, logistics, professional services, graphic design, distribution, warehousing, utilities, food & beverage, and more. WBENC Certification also provides WBE CEOs and Presidents an opportunity to connect with corporations at national, regional, and online events including one-on-one meetings.
“Achieving WBENC certification was a top priority for KMA and something we are very proud of,” explains KMA president Kim Anania. “Not only does the certification foster and recognize greater diversity in the business world, it opens new channels for KMA to network and partner with others across the country that can, in turn, benefit all of our clients.”
Founded in 1997, WBENC is the nation’s leader in women’s business development and the leading third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women, with more than 10,000 WBENC-Certified WBEs. WBENC certification must be renewed annually.
