For more than 15 years Harold Skelton served as Vice President, Human Resources, for a Maine-based industrial construction firm. His responsibilities included recruiting and hiring a skilled construction workforce, managing day-to-day employment issues, overseeing safety and compliance on construction worksites, negotiating construction contracts, and providing advice about contractual and workplace risk.

“Listening with care and attention, communicating clearly and timely, taking effective action promptly – these are the core responsibilities of professionals in every field,” explains Harold. “My passion is using these skills to bring value and build lasting relationships with my clients.”

Before his career in HR, Harold was a civil trial lawyer and remains a licensed attorney in the State of Maine. Harold received a BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and earned the degree of Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.

He lives in Cumberland with his wife and enjoys woodworking, repairing watches, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
