How do you model strong leadership?

“Years ago, I learned about servant leadership as a management style rooted in sharing power, putting needs of employees first and developing people to perform as highly as possible to build better organizations and create a more just and caring world. This style appeals to my sense of fairness and desire for collaboration in the workplace. Servant leaders can make the hard choices but we work to enhance the lives of others around us. I constantly work on these skills: listening, empathy, mentoring, awareness, foresight, stewardship, commitment to growth of people, and building community. Servant leadership underpins my passion for my work and motivates me to inspire others to reach their potential.”
