KMA is pleased to welcome three new members to our team.

Amy Harkins, HR Consultant

“Any company’s success can be directly linked to their most important asset, their people. For me, I enjoy HR because of the connections and relationships I have had the good fortune to build with people. Transparency and honest communication is key to creating these bonds and helping employers develop great teams. I truly enjoy being a trusted HR resource and partner to help our clients reach their goals.”

With more than 20 years of human resources experience, Amy has worked in a variety of business settings, from non-profit healthcare to for-profit manufacturing. In these roles she gained skills in many HR functions, including recruitment/onboarding, retention, benefits administration, training, coaching and performance review processes, policies/procedures, compliance and safety/wellness.

Amy has an undergraduate degree in liberal studies from the University of Maine at Augusta and is currently pursuing a degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies at SNHU. She holds a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Southern Maine, a Certificate in Workplace Wellness and a LEAD leadership trainer Mindset.

Amy and her family live in coastal Maine. They have a deep connection to the ocean and can be found on the water as much as possible in the summer. They also enjoy hiking all the beautiful trails Maine has to offer.

Elizabeth Driscoll, SHRM-CP, HR Consultant

“I believe that human resources should help a business reach its goals and set the tone for a company culture that works for them. HR goes about that by thoroughly understanding the company’s business, creating a solid foundation of policies, benefits, and software to support the business and creating an environment for the business and employees to contribute to the growth of the company. I am excited to be able to do that for KMA’s clients.”

Liz has over 15 years’ experience in human resources including recruiting, employee relations, benefit and 401K administration, safety, payroll, leaves of absence/FMLA and technology reviews and implementation. She has worked in various industries including long term care, medical device manufacturing, marketing, and various SAS companies.

She holds a BS in Business Administration from Babson College, an HR Certificate from University of New Hampshire and SHRM-CP. Liz is an active member of the Seacoast HR Association and also a board member and member of the Leadership Seacoast Class of 2020.

Liz lives in Portsmouth, NH with her husband and two sons. She enjoys golf, skiing gardening, and walks with her dog.

Caitlyn King, SHRM-CP, HR Intern

“I am thankful for the opportunity to work for such a great organization that’s all about HR, and I am looking forward to learning all I can from everyone here on the team. The work being ever-changing and challenging really pushes me to be and do the best I can for KMA and our clients.”

Caitlyn King is focused on building on her experience in HR as KMA’s Intern. Her previous work experience includes an HR internship with a wealth management firm, and she has worked in retail, customer service, and lawn care.

A graduate of Saint Joseph’s College, Caitlyn holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Management, and she is also a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
