What do you love most about the work you are doing today?
“Supporting immigrant-led organizations that are working to advance immigrant and racial justice within their communities has been humbling, but also fulfilling – professionally and personally. For me, this work is personal. Some of the people I support are neighbors, friends, and family. I’m part of the communities that I’m advocating for. I have the opportunity to open doors. I work in partnership with immigrant-led organizations to advocate and elevate the leadership of immigrants in Maine. And I revel in being able to say: here are tangible outcomes making a difference, something that is directly a result of the work that I do.”
