Establishing these relationships are one of my favorite things about working in HR. I enjoy developing relationships through listening to the client, creating a foundation of trust, and understanding their goal(s). By having a strong rapport with my clients, it allows me to better advise and enable them to ensure their organization is successful. I am excited to be able to provide my skills and experiences to our KMA clients.”



Amy Barker has over a decade of experience in human resources, including recruiting and HR management. Much of her career has been spent supporting the financial industry, but she also has experience in the education and manufacturing industries. Amy’s strengths include payroll, benefits, full-cycle recruiting, HRIS, performance management, and compliance.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Norwich University in Vermont. She is a Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) member.

Originally from California, she moved to Vermont for college where she met her husband. Amy now resides in southern Maine with her husband and their three boys. She and her family are Harry Potter and Disney fanatics who spend time vacationing in Orlando a few times a year to enjoy the weather and theme parks. While her sons’ hockey and soccer schedules keep her busy most of the year, when she’s not acting as their chauffeur, you will find her relaxing with a cup of coffee and her nose stuck in a book.
