The 2021 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection is now open. The deadline for submitting and certifying 2021 EEO-1 Component 1 Report(s) is Tuesday, May 17, 2022. To meet this deadline, the EEOC strongly encourages eligible filers to begin the filing process as soon as possible.
The EEO-1 Component 1 report is a mandatory annual data collection that requires all private sector employers with 100 or more employees, and federal contractors with 50 or more employees meeting certain criteria, to submit demographic workforce data, including data by race/ethnicity, sex and job categories.
Filers should visit the dedicated EEO-1 Component 1 website at www.eeocdata.org/eeo1 to access the EEO-1 Component 1 Online Filing System and to find the latest filing updates and helpful resource materials (e.g., Instruction Booklet, User’s Guide, FAQs, Fact Sheets). Filers needing additional assistance may learn how to access the Filer Support Team Message Center on the EEO-1 Component 1 website at www.eeocdata.org/eeo1/support/contactus.
